General Information Whether you're planning a small meeting, a company retreat or picnic, a wedding or a family reunion, Laurel Hall offers an extraordinary value. Set on six acres of land on Indianapolis' beautiful east side, Laurel Hall combines form and function for the discerning meeting planner. The impressive 1916 Jacobean Revival manor house provides a timeless backdrop for any special event, combining history, beauty and character, with helpful modern conveniences. There are several indoor spaces for receptions, parties and social gatherings up to 200 people. The Ruth Lilly Conference Center is a state-of-the-art meeting space offering a full array of audiovisual equipment, WiFi access and a high-speed Webcast and teleconferencing system. Two elegant dining rooms provide a special space for your meal functions. All areas are air conditioned and served by a commercial kitchen. The grounds provide a stunning setting during any season, offering space for outdoor social gatherings, meals or just photography. Originally designed in 1915, the property includes a number of plantings quite rare to the Midwest, brought from Europe by the original landscape architect. A new landscape master plan in 2006 will result in a greatly improved facility, with walking paths, grottos and water features throughout. |
